R&D question: CIS injection.

Does the distance traveled by fuel thru an injector line effect how the injection delivers fuel?

No, because the lines will all be full of fuel up to the point of the injector, so the actual fuel coming from each injector will be the same pressure and quantity at the same time. The only time where one might get fuel first would be on a "dry start" where empty lines and injectors have been installed. The cylinders with the shortest line would fire first. This is how it worked when I replaced my injectors on my M103....though the "delay" between the others firing was probably 1-2 seconds at most....then it was running smooth/even.
