W210 door handle replacement
 

Has anyone ever replaced the door handle on the W210 coupe? I seem to be having door locking issues. Its not the key as the key operates the remote door lock at the trunk and front windshield areas.

Can't seem to find any info on this door handle thing.

The locks are pneumatically operated. See if you hear a hiss at the faulty locks. I had to replace a rear actuator on mine - about $30.

Actually it is not he lock mechanism as it is the sensor that is red when it locks and green when it unlocks. It does not seem to locate the "signal" from the key unit anymore.

Where would I find out how to remove and replace this??

You can just replace the receiver. Its fairly easy. get an account at alldatadiy.com I think there are instructions there. The cost is fairly cheap for one year.

No such thing as a W210 coupe.

The CLK that looks like one is a C208.

Your 300CE is a C124.
