Hi,

I removed the air filter housing (1990 300CE) and found an open-ended vacuum line, at the other end it is connected to some part (with the blue dot, what is it called?), which is in turn connected to the fuel distributor.

What should the open end be connected to. Is it something which causes my engine run too rich?
