Rubber and bushings...

So far I'm pretty sure A LOT of my bushings and such on my car have gone bad. Whenever it rains my front right tire creaks/squeeks like it's the apocalypse, once it dries up in a few days it's fine.

I tried checking it out and I THINK it's the ball joint? Not sure though Anyway to know for sure? Aswell as a rear swaying at highway speeds. Pretty bad, makes me kind of sick driving on the freeway lol. Is this is DIY, DIY + Rare Tools, or Mechanic?

FYI,

Creaks that are affected by water could be ball joints...

look at the boots on the ball joints, if they are torn then you found your problem. this is a very serious one and i would not delay it if it is the case ...

good luck

Hey, I took a look at them and they look pretty intact, not torn. Not even sure how water got in there. Anything else you would know off the top of your head that's a common problem?

does this noise happen only when you turn the steering wheel or only when you go over a bump or when?

It happens when I turn the wheel, go over bumps, street dips. Pretty much any time the wheel moves up and down or left and right. ((

You might consider taking a look at the guide rod mount, which is the thing that the round tube (guide rod) screws into at the rear of the front lower suspension.

In my SD, it was rusting in the pivot bushing/bearing whatever it is inside the rubber, and made a lot of noise when hitting bumps, as well as if I turned and then reversed directions while still having the wheels turned.

Just went under. It's totally coming from the front right wheel. It sounds like it's coming right from the wheel. As close to the rotor as possible. Driving me insane! Lol. Bout to take my tax refund and overhaul all the rubber bs parts! Haha

thanks for your time guys =)

Yeah, that sounds like the ball joint. My 201 had the exact symptoms you described and it turned out to be a bad ball joint. It creaked whenever I turned the wheels, went over bumps, and even when I got in and out of the car.
