Anit-seize on spark plugs?

Well as some of you may know, I'm a MZB newbie. I want to change the plugs, but dose MZB recommend not using anti-seize on the plugs? Are there any other tricks I should look for when changing the plugs? Also I'm looking to change the air filter, my previous car (BMW) had a K&N, and so does my wife's LRover. I like them ok, but I'm not sold on them. Any feedback appreciated.

I have been using a very small amount of antiseize on plugs for years with no apparent problems. Make sure you use a torque wrench when tightening them down. We are running a K&N on the Honda CRV and I have not been able to tell any difference in performance.

Jim is right. you should us anti seize because your head is aluminum and the plugs are steel.

Dissimilar metals create a reaction that will almost weld the two together.

And use a torque wrench so you don`t strip the head.

I always use copper grease. Is that what you call anti seize?

thanks for the advice...

I did use the anti seize and a tourq wrench, both worked well. Giving Helga the tune up was a blast. However, I'm not sold on those spark plug wires with the metal connectors. I had problems with my last plug closest to the fire wall, I couldn't get the wire to snap onto the plug like the others did. Oh well, I got it on as tight as I could get it, and the car now runs 100% better considering the previous owner hadn't had the spark plugs changed in about 6 years!

Danka!
