2000 E320 Tranny replaced but still in Limp Mode

Hi,
My 2000 E320 transmission was replaced (by me) but still in Limp Mode.
How do I clear Transmission Control Module codes?

Limp mode never constitutes transmission replacement, so you know

You need MB Star like the one on post 14

Got My MB STAR C4 Diagnostic Tool Today! - Mercedes-Benz Forum

I have one. Works like a charm, or pay $100 or so to have them reset...

A bad conductor plate, or wet TCM will cause this problem which are easy fixes..

I just had the TCU replaced and recoded for my 2003 S430 at the dealer. It cost $1100. You may just need the codes erased or to have it recoded.
