2000 E320 Tranny replaced but still in Limp Mode
Hi,
My 2000 E320 transmission was replaced (by me) but still in Limp Mode. How do I clear Transmission Control Module codes? |

Limp mode never constitutes transmission replacement, so you know
You need MB Star like the one on post 14 Got My MB STAR C4 Diagnostic Tool Today! - Mercedes-Benz Forum I have one. Works like a charm, or pay $100 or so to have them reset... A bad conductor plate, or wet TCM will cause this problem which are easy fixes.. Martin |

I just had the TCU replaced and recoded for my 2003 S430 at the dealer. It cost $1100. You may just need the codes erased or to have it recoded.
