2.82 rear end question
 

I found a guy on craigslist with a 1993 400sel, he is parting out so I asked him about the rear end, if it was a 2.82 with ASR ? he said he was not sure but he would check. So he e-mailed me, and said he was not sure if it had ASR and how could he check? I told him I think there should be two connections on there one for ABS and one for ASR. Is there any other way to check for ASR on the rear diff, its now out the car and in his shop!

Does this diff have ASR ,HELP!
 

ASR cars have the light on the dash...

It's the red triangle with an exclamation point in the middle. I believe DaveM on his website shows adding LS to a ASR diff.

It has 2 sensors each one is above the outputs in the main housing.
