Testing 88 300e crankshaft position sensor.

Hello, I have seen on this forum the specs of 680 to 1200 ohms reading from the center to outer conductors in sensor cable as ok. When I tested my sensor it reads 784 kilohms which equals 784000 ohms. MY question is are the specs in ohms are kilohms. If in ohms then my sensor must be bad. Any advice will be helpful. Thanks Tim. PS this is the rear sensor that plugs into the ezl unit on a m103 engine.

Are you sure there isn't a decimal point in front of the 784? My Fluke 87 reads .728 Kohms, which of course is 728 ohms.
