I have a 1995 S-350 (140 series). Having problems with the trunk closure. You can push the button and it releases fine but will not close with the power assist. The latch does not come down. You can slam it and it will latch and close but the handle will not go back in. I tried working the manual lever that closes the handle and after working that lever the trunk will power close like it is supposed to but then push the hidden handle back out. The trunk stays shut but the handle is out and the interior light that signals the trunk is open is lit. Are ther microswitchs in the mechanism and is that something a do-it-yourselfer can tackle??
