how do I remove the instrument panel?

You need instrument cluster tools, these metal wire things that are hooked at the end. You need two of them and you insert them on the top part of the instrument cluster, you've gotta find the right spot where it hooks in, then just pull straight out. It was a pain in the ass to get it to come out the first time though.
