Yeah, I discarded the floor jack. Its in the back of my fathers truck, awaiting to go to the recycling center.

Wheel chocks and jack stands are soo cheep too !

Before using a MB trunk jack you need to firmly apply the emergency brake and chock the tires to prevent the car from rolling. Then make sure the jack remains vertical when lifting the car.
