Tool Rental

I'm trying to rent a ball joint and sub frame bushing tool for an '87 300E W124.
I've tried the tool rental list and nobody has them. I'd love to do these jobs myself . Anyone?

That's because most ppl don't use those factory tools!

There is a write up on pounding out/in the balljoint. I made a sleeve to fit the free autozone tool. Elegant but the other one works. Bushings.. you can do them easily without a tool.
Do you have the spring compressor??? That's the biggy as MB springs are very dangerous.

I read that write up (well done, BTW) and that's partly why I was looking for the tool.
I don't have a spring compressor. I do have a guy who'll do the ball joints for $200 but I would like to do these repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible myself.

Doesn't look like it. That one fits W116, W123 & W126 models. Thanks for the offer though.
