97 S500 Coupe Door Handle
 

All,

The driver side exterior door handle has broken at the front pivot point. Mercedes wants $$$$'s for replacement. Anyone know the part number and a source?

epc for part numbers, try a junk yard or potamac motors

EPC cost $. Would like a new part.

Only source for a new part is from the dealer.

I believe you can get a discount if you are a member of the MBCA.

EPC is free; it's the service manual that you have to pay for. Here's the link.. Click on suscribe...the North American passenger car EPC is free. If the part you grab onto broke, it appears the number is A 140 760 03 70. I'm getting a discounted price from my local dealer. If you can't get the same, shoot me a PM and I can see what price I can get.
