is the engine number of a 1995 c36 located on the actual engine anywhere? also is the tranny number located on the tranny anywhere? I was able to find the numbers for these parts that were associated with the VIN, but I just want to make sure their the right ones. Thanks for any feedback

Engine number is located on the right side of the engine. behind the alternator.
