1987 300TDT rear window
 

The rear passenger side window on my 300TDT wagon will not close completely. The window motor/mechanism is working as I can lower the window but it will not close completely. There are no unusual noises like when the regulator went out on my sedan (I could hear the regulator gear stripping). Is there hope that I can re-adjust the regulator becase is has jumped a tooth or is there consensus that I in need to replace the regulator?
