what should the timing be set at on my 89 420sel? should anything be disconnected when it is set. thanks

Timing of 420SEL
There is no ignition timing adjustment for the 1989 420 SEL. It is computer controlled

Timing of 420SEL
the bolt is for holding the distributor and aligning the rotor to the cap position.
