W124 Master Cylinder/Fuel System
Howdy again folks.
Just inquiring - the brakes are making a judder when you apply them sometimes, and then occasionally the ABS light comes on? Not sure whats going on, as if master cylinder has issues... its not the pads, the mech checked them, and just had a wheel alignment. personally i think its an ABS problem, because its as if when you push the pedal, they go on, then off, then on, then off... but really quickly! unsure though... Also, the car seems to be hard to start, and each time you turn it on, the fuel guage is less than it was prior. I read this post, in the history... " I finally solved my starting issue once and for all today. Had the dealer check the fuel system out, it has good pressure (as I suspected) but bleeds off when the car was turned off.....meaning, bad accumulator! I went right home and swapped on a spare I had from junk yard car....and, works perfect!! It starts almost instantly now, I visited a few stores and left it off for between 10-35 mins at a time, each time it started instantly with no quivering or issue....finally!!! Now every single part in the fuel system except the pumps themselves and the fuel pressure regulator (which are in good shape) is brand new. " Could this be the issue? I changed plugs, leads are new and oil/filter change and everything is still the same. Though oil level is full, the pressure is always low unless you have your foot on the gas. Hope some of you know what im talking about ![]() cheers guys ![]()
