1986 190e will not start

wondering if someone can help me. I just bought an 86 190e 2.3 non 16v drove it home after charging battery, it had been sitting six months or so now it won't start. I do not believe that the fuel pump is getting power. I was wondering if there is an easy way to test fuel pump relay or if anyone knows of any other common issues for this. Please help suck to drive a car home and not drive it after that.:(

If you want to take off the air cleaner, you can just loosen the fuel hose and see if fuel is under pressure in the hose, just don't let it spray in your eyes.

You can remove the relay and jump the sockets that provide power to the relay, and the output socket, they are direclty across from each other in about the middle of the 2 banks of pins, near the small plastic locating pin.
