190E Ragtop!!??
I was watching a bad movie last night which was set in France but the best part was the bright red 190E convertible. Yes, a 190E . First I thought it was a 300E ragtop (CE?) but sure enough it was the baby benz. It was comparable to the Audi ragtop (90 or A4). Nice top which looked factory- not having all of the bubbles and ribs showing. Looked like a nice glass rear window as well.
Was this a production car in Europe? Or simply an aftermarket conversion? Any in the US of A?

I saw a W201 2 door cabrio at an exotic car showroom in Santa Monica in 1986.
