95 E320 Wagon Power Window and Sunroof Problem

My power windows and sunroof of my 95 E320 Wagen are not working, I checked the fuse and it is fine. Any ideas on why both items would stop working since they are on separate circuits...
Thanks,

There is a convenience control module, IIRC under the driver's side rear seat, that controls them both for the auto close/open with the key mode. Check there, might be some corrosion or a bad module.

babymog, is auto window down when holding key a possibility? I thought holding the key and closing windows was all you could do.

Yes. Holding the key to lock will close the windows and sunroof. Holding it to unlock will open the windows, and if the sunroof was closed with this feature, ... it will also open the sunroof.

I wonder what would cause my car to roll up the windows, but not roll them down? I've tried holding the key to unlock in both doors and nothing.

Are the interior windows one touch operation for raising the windows as well? What else does the CCM handle?

JohnM: IIRC, it only lowers them if it raised them. I don't use the open feature enough to remember how it goes though. I do remember the first time my sunroof opened using this feature, I figured out it only does this when I close it with the auto feature.

mbz: No. Only the central locking does it, and only starting MY-'90. There is a one-touch down feature for the front windows starting with those models however.

Thank You so much, I was able to close the windows and sunroof with the key from the driver's door which is great since we couldn't use the car since it is raining. I will check out the control module as you described and we should be in business. Thanks again

OK, I think the CCM is the issue as I was able to close the windows and sunroof with the key, but I could not find the CCM under the rear driver's seat, where is it located in the wagon?

I haven't dug into that in a wagon, only a sedan so I'm afraid I don't know. However, did you roll the carpet forward under the LR seat? The carpet is over everything in the back seat area in the wagons, you might have to pull the threshold plate and a bit of door (felt) weatherstrip to get the carpet loose enough in the doorway to access it.

babymog, you were right. If you roll up the windows with the key, the next time you unlock the car and hold, the windows will roll down! I guess I never tried it like that but it makes sense.
