Keys will not work in any Lock or ignition

All of a sudden both keys will not work any outside lock, doors or trunk nor will the they turn the ignition. The keys will not turn in any of the locks or ignition. I am stumped. Transmissin is in park and I tried wiggling the steering wheel. Still nothing. Need help. The car is a 1992 300 CE

Thanks in advance.

Did a chunk of crud get stuck in the key? Are you sure it's inserting like it always did?

put the key in the ignition, turn the steering wheel to the left and while trying to turn the key. i had this happen to me about 8 months ago. but i was unsure as to what made the key work again....the fact that i turned the key in the ignition while turning the sterering wheel or the fact that i sprayed the key with liquid wrench prior to inserting it in the ignition.....model i have is a 1990 190E 5.6

If the keys dont work in any of the locks maybe you got the wrong keys (another car). The key has no electronics since it is a steel key, one lock not functioning makes sense all of them does not.

Ditto.

Or else some bad person secretly changed all your locks.

Did the locks recently get wet?

Do you have a spare key?
