Are W140 Door Mounted mirrors interchangeable between 95 and 96?
 

MY 1996 S320 has some REALLY broken mirrors. One of the POs took it upon themselves to fix them by filling the housing with epoxy and using a piece of 10/2 wire to hold it on. Oh, and a couple of 3 inch long drywall screws as a bonus! wow.

I just bought a pair of mirrors off a '95 W140. It looks like these have two connectors while the 96 has only one. Can I adapt them? I'm not afraid of some quality time with a soldering iron and heat shrink tubing.
