04 E320 surging on accelleration
 

I posted earlier but got no response.. maybe how i worded it. I'll try again. The check engine light is on and the code points to the EGR valve. On accelleration, it kinda surges intermittently... don't exactly know how to describe it in text, but it's quarter second surges.. maybe 3 -5 of them. The valve and pipe were removed by a qualified benz mechanic and code was shut off. He checked the solenoid, vacuum and egr.. after cleaning, all work good per the mechanic. I took the car and the light was back in inside of 15 miles and still does the little surges. Any thoughts?

Replace the valve & the issue should go away.
