Rough seceond to third upshift 400E
My 92 400E shifts fine other than a rough 2-3rd upshift. Does it more some times than others? fluid and filter a new.:confused:

Possible bad K1 shift spring?

Have you checked to see if the vacuum hose from the intake manifold to your modulator valve (left side of transmission) is leaking or perhaps the modulator valve itself is leaking? I think this affects the 2-3 shift.
