95 s320 722.5 transmission

i am trying to find information on check ball or valve location in the case on a 722.5 . i have looked and talked to alot of people about about my problem and most tell me i am missing check valves in the case side of the valve body but no one can tell me where it gos or what it looks like! any help thanks

The 722.5 is just like the 722.3 trans up to the rear cover..

What is the problem? Internal fluid bleed-off??

OMG Christine that is great info! but.....its for a 722.3 not a 722.5 the back half of the case is different. do you know the sight for the 722.5? Thanks a bunch jerry

I own both W124 and W211.

Do you have the similar link for the 7G-Tronic gear box that is on the W211 (420CDI)?

No, I don't. Sorry. I'll keep an eye out for it while I continue to sift for additional 722.3 info though.
