SLK rear window

I recently had to replace my battery when the top was retracted. I think this might have confused the position sensor on my rear window, because now when the top is up, it's not flush against the roof. There's a gap between the driver side quarter window and the roof. Is this something that I can DIY adjust?

I couldn't find any related post on slkworld, and I trust the advice on peach parts. Thanks though.

Is there an easy window adjust that I can do? I found something about putting the key to position two, and trying to put the window up. That didn't work. This seems related to the battery, so I don't think I should have to replace any parts.

Does the rear window function correctly when you operate the top?

Post your question there, then.

WAY more SLK experience there than here.

There is BTW, ZERO requirement in WIS for any roof adjustments following battery change. Your problem is NOT related to the battery.

The rear quarter window is a self contained unit, only works with top operation.

MBDOC,
The rear window is raised and lowered with the roof, but not raised completely. It's actually gotten a bit worse from using the roof a little bit over the last couple weeks, and now the gap has gotten larger. There is also now a 1/4" gap between the rear window and the full driver window.

Must be a problem with that window regulator.
