W124 OVP??? What is it?
I've read alot about the "OVP" in several posts. It seems to be a commonly replaced part. What exactly is this thing? What problems does it cause when it's not working? Where is it?

Over Voltage Protection relay. It provides power to several key underhood circuits.

Does it have any interaction with idle quality?

Yes - at least on the diesels - I'm not sure about the gassers.

in gassers... idle affected when cold..... after it warms up you should be ok....
but you have to replace the part |
