Are you sure it is no spark?
hi well i check that by taking out the spark plugs cables and i found out that one of the coils is not making any spar would that be my problem?
If it's only one of them, then that suggests a bad coil. If none spark, I'd think crank position sensor, too.
thank you gregs210 i will change both hopefully that would fix my problem.
i change the crank sensor and it started right away, drove the rest of the afternoon and it did fine, but the next morning it didn't start again same thing ,engine rotates and that is all it does...
Did you go through the adaptation procedure after replacing the crank sensor?
Here you go: http://www.europeantransmissions.com/Bulletin/DTC.merc/MB%20Flywheel%20Adaptation%20ME-SFI.pdf Christine |
no i did not i just put it in and drove away...
I don't know that it's your problem, (others on here certainly would) but they call for this procedure for a reason.

thank you Christine for your help.
another suggestion anyone of what might be the problem? |
Well I can just tell you a couple of things that might help. If it is a coil bad then it should still start, it would just run rough. If you want to confirm no spark, then spray some staring spray in the intake. If it still doesn't run then you have no spark. If it runs for a moment then it is a fuel problem.
the thing is that when i change the sensor the light went off and it was very smood drive
Check the OVP. That's something that was suggested to me previously when I had a similar problem.
