I am working on a 1980 MERCEDES BENZ 450 SL that is getting gas in the oil. I am told that the warm up regulator or fuel distibutor may be the problem. I would like to know where the warm up regulator is located and how I may test these components. Thanks for any help you can give me

Most likely a fuel system pressure damper, they are connected to breather lines that go into the crankcase.
