Hesitation Under Load W126 500SEC '84
 

1st post.... I have a 1984 500 SEC Rebuilt transmission in FEB '10. Ran grate for a few months. Now at sometimes random under load and after it warms up I get hesitation when stepping on the gas. I replaced the Fuel Filter and had the FPR checked for contacts. Problem remains. I really notice it when the car is at operating temperatures or warm since I live in FL. I have done a search on all the forms found some stuff on Rotor Cap etc, and bubbles in gas lines but none seem to match what I am getting. Any help would be much appreciated. :cool:

does this hesitation happen with the a.c on or off? or there is no difference? It could be many possibilities.. ignition, fuel, mechanical problems.. is it possible that the rebuilt trans is not functioning properly? maybe torque converter engaging when it is not supposed to causing a hesitation feeling
