catalyitic converter
Has anyone had any luck trying to find a replacement converter legal in the state of California. All the online parts houses have plenty of cats but none for sale in Ca.

Last I heard Magnaflow had some depending on your chassis/engine/model. You might check their website.
Lots of muffler shops sell and install ones that meet CARB/OBDII specs as well. Lots more expensive than the ones you can simply buy online if you don't live here, though. |

DEC has California legal cat.
Is the OE reman unit from dealer too HIGH? should be about $300-400

Ask guys parting cars too, they may cut you a deal for testing purposes...
Do not expect them to sell for cheap, scrap is pretty high for these cats and they usually fetch decent money.
