Was never available as spare part!
ASR on 1991-93 cars with CIS-E injection ststems can be a total pain. Most of the parts are so $$$ that many people use the control linkages from a regular M103 engine

A 300SE with ASR? Why?? I can't think of a good reason to have ASR on such a marginally powered engine. Don't get me wrong, I love my 300SE, but breaking the rear end loose by acceleration is nearly impossible. I've chirped my tires on a full-throttle 1-2 shift before, but even that is hard to replicate. What were they thinking? With second gear start, you can't even get a tire slip on a wet road!
Can ASR just be removed on such a car? If so, I can't see why not just getting rid of it entirely.
