EPC light on Dash
I have a dash light called EPC. I have another one ASR with a corresponding switch on the console. The ASR(anti Slip ) I think I understand, but the EPC is not even mentioned in the manual.

Well if it is a 1996 OR later car then the light is for the electronic TRANSMISSION.

Yes, it is a 96 s500. Tranny huh? Thanks for the update. It comes on if there is a transmission problem?

YES that is a MIL(malfunction indicator lamp). HOPE that it never comes on!!
