Brake Band Wear
 

722.3 Trans B-2 Band.

Is there any "wear limit" thickness numbers available or is it determined by the amount of clearance around the drum??

As long as you can get the proper servo travel and the band isn't obviously damaged it will be OK to use. Bands and clutches don't wear very much at all under normal conditions; it's when there is something else wrong that they become damaged.

Ditto, if you can use a longer pin & still get the correct clearence..no problem
