New EHA Valve question

If I buy a new EHA valve are they already factory set or do they have to be adjusted? I've read threads saying both. Anyone know for sure? Also, if they go bad but aren't leaking, what part of the EHA valve does go bad? Mine looks very good but I'm pretty sure it's the original and who knows how much it's been played with before I got it?

It comes set from the factory. No adjustment needed. I got mine new and it was set to spec when I read fuel pressures.

I should crack my old one open out of curiosity and see what is looks like inside...

Well, looks like you're gonna have to kill me because I figured it out with my old one and got it adjusted to match my new one and both work perfectly. I also know why that go bad electronically and these can be easily repaired! More to come.

David . wait awhile! he still has to tell what the magic fix will be.
Recently I read a Chinese manual which stated " Fix correctly or many smokes will come"

Oh those Chinese... They're are a fun-lovin' bunch. Thanks mak for getting my day started with a big chuckle. Come to think of it, that sort of sounds like my DIY mechanical track record. I may adopt that as a signature line some day.
