93 300e starting problem?? help
 

Hello

I have 93 300e 2.8. I pulled the battery out for a few minutes and when I re-intalled it the car would not start?? I check connections and everything is tight. So I unlock the the car and the trunck lock and it starts fine. Two days later, same problem, I have to unlock trunck with key for car to start. By taking out battery did I and putting back in do I have to reset something???? A little lost here??

Another thing I noticed is when driving the car normally and then slowing down and then right away putting your foot right back on the gas pedal I get a backfire or a put put noise form the exhaust as if I am losing power for a second???

Does it turn over, but not start? Or does it not do anything?

The car starts now but when it does not start it does not turn over. The security swith light flickers on and off.
