Can I Remove Rear Seats Armrest?
i want to remove the rearseats armrest in my 1989 300E am i gonna have to break it off too or is there a way to do so?
i know i just made a thread on how to remove the first aid kit but this is totally different... |
Remove the seat bottom cushion, remove the backrest cushion, you will see the bolts for the center armrest.

Agreed, the armrest shouldn't be difficult to remove once the backrest is out of the car. You might even want it out to do your enclosures anyways.
|
im putting some 6x9's on top of the rear deck and two 8'' subs where the arm rest is at...
& thanks to both u guys :) might try it tomorrow, just got off work and dont feel like doin it right now... is there a place where i can post my car's build? like a build log? |
Make a topic. if its about a stereo system there's a forum for that somewhere listed I believe

Yes, should you do any work on the rear deck, you should probably remove it from the car to work on it.
As well as any work on the back seat. The tank is right behind that piece of metal, behind the top half of the back seat. |
