82 300td seat swap
 

I have an 80' 240D with some darn nice seats! Adolph my daily driver is a '82 300td driver seat is hurting my back, so I thought I would attempt a transplant. Will this swap work? Thanks, thought I would get with the Go to guys before I would give it a try.
Both cars have manual seats. The TD has an armrest and the 240 does not, I will deal with this later.

Man, I would find a way to transplant that armrest. I have an 83sd I just put 420sel 1990 seats into. My armrest is one of my favorite parts of the car.

Best thing to do is measure the distance between the bolts. length and breadth. That should give you enough confirmation to start the swap. the fact that they are both manual should make it very straightforward.

Swap was made, it was to easy! I am waiting for something I forgot to reach up and bite me in my hind-end!!!
