I have heard of people using a generic application from Bosch. If I remember correctly they were around $50. I think the application was from a early 90s Ford 5.0 engine.

Hey lowesguy, since you're new to the forum, you may not be aware that it is sponsored by an internet parts house. How about giving Peach Parts your business? Or at least not using their forum to ask about competitors.

Just curious, if it's only 15k old, why are you replacing it?

Is the car showing any symptoms of a running problem?

Ususally antisieze paste is pre applied to the threads of new O2 sensors so it shouldn't be too hard to remove.

As far as removing the old one a special socket can be had at most parts stores to remove the sensor. Even Harbor Freight sells one for $5.00 or so. It's a crowfoot looking affair that goes on a 3/8 extension.

Select your car and in the keyword search, search oxygen.
