It is such a tortured relationship, for everybody. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with it anymore. The parallels to health care are quite extensive except that the insurance carriers aren't quite so powerful.

Watched it B4 heading out for work this A.M.....died laughing.

What you see in this clip sums it all up.....too many people expecting something for nothing.

Not just in auto repair.....everywhere.

Yep, there is quite a bit of bashing of higher end repair shops (like dealers and independents) but I think way too many people in society today don't understand the complexities of a modern car.

For me the clip was only slightly funny because it hit a bit too close to the truth. Many people in see auto mechanics as a lower-end profession, in their world view its entirely appropriate when seeking information on car repairs to take the advice of a guy that worked at a car dealership detailing cars.

The reality is far removed from this perception, todays cars are incredibly complex.

Classic, people are so dumb.
