Window switch replacement 126 body
 
Can the drivers power window button be replaced on a 88 420SEL (126) w/o taking out the console? On my 83 300D i can replace them w/o removing the console, but want to make sure before cracking the console on my stepfathers benz.

You will have to take out the ashtray and the lower front change pocket. Then the wood will push forward and up.
