Correct way to adjust 1988 190E 2.3 Mixture ?
I have just finished a top-end rebuild on my 190E and was wondering what is the best way to adjust the idle mixture.
Should I set the EHA current to 0MA (or -3ma slightly rich) closed loop. Or should I adjust the % duty cycle at pin 3 of the diagnostic socket with my Fluke Multimeter ? At the moment I have it set to -3ma EHA which gives about 40% duty cycle and it seems to be running very well. thanks Doug McCutchan |
IF the control pressure (upper/lower chamber) is correct, then either method is correct.
