1997 S500 Check Engine Light

I had two dash lights blown on my instrument cluster. I was able to pull the cluster and replace the bulbs. BUT, I disconnected the wiring harness and when I replaced the cluster the "Check Engine " light appeared. How do I reset that? I am pretty sure that it occurred just because I disconnected the wiring harness. The car is fine otherwise.

Have you unhooked the battery? I did something similar on a 740iL and after 15 mins unhooked the light went away.
