86 300e help

hi fellow merc owners

, i have a 86 300e (gas 3.0) auto, with 263k miles

. the engine is going and i wanted to know how hard would it be to install a newer engine and tranny in

. all help and advice is greatly appreciated.

i live in hudson valley ny if theres any benz mechanics near me.
