Recommended fluids for 1989 300TE

I am getting ready to work on the transmission and brakes and need to know what I should use.

I also thought this might be a good thread to have as a sticky but was unsure how to word it or how to break it down for the different models and years. What do you think, is it worth it to have have something like this hanging around?

What are the recommended fluids for a 1989 300TE.

Oil: It seems that the Shell Rotella is a good one, are there any others?

Transmission:?

Brakes:?

Coolant: Zerex G-05 and the Mercedes branded coolant but are there others?

Coolant Additive: Any additives like water wetter that are safe and useful to add to the coolant?

If I am missing anything please add it to the list.
