M116 CIS Temp Sensor?
Hey everyone,
I picked up a 4-pole CIS temp for my 420SEL however after going to replace it...the existing one and harness doesnt mesh up. Heres what I bought and expected... Heres what I've got in the 420: |
That's the temp sensor that my 300E uses :)
Either they sent you the wrong one, or you ordered the wrong one. The correct ones PN is 0280130044. |
Odd my buddys M117-560SEL uses the 4-pin unit.

I believe the M117 in the 560SEL uses slightly updated electronics/EFI compared to your 420SEL.
The early 300E uses that same green two prong sensor, while the late 300E uses the 4 pin. |
