84 500 SEC no start

Hello all,

It's been a while since I've been here but I just picked up one of the cars I have wanted for years, an 84 500 SEC which looks to be a grey market car which I like as I think it looks better but anyhow, enough of my gibberish.

The car was running when I first looked at it but now it won't which is OK with me because I got it for a better price because of the no start. The OVP keeps blowing. Not sure what all runs through this but evidently the ignition does as it has no spark. It will blow the fuse just as quick as you can turn the key. I am just now kicking myself in the ass for getting rid of all my Merc technical books, more and more over the years as I just seem to keep buying these cars as the years go on, since my first 380SEL back in 1995.
