P100 Massive Air code
 

I have the engine light on, when ran the scanner it shows massive air intake fault, I have replace the housing that had a broken latch, but the problem still persists. The engine runs beatifully except when stopped and taking off it dies or shakes as if it lacked fuel or like it is air chocking.
Any ideas of what that could be ?

Sounds like a mass air sensor. OR you have a coil pack out depending on your engine type...

Might I suggest this be moved to the tech help section? It wont get too much attention down in the shops area..

+1 for maf. you can use carb cleaner to spray around the rubber intake boot, manifold gasket etc and see if the rpms change.
