1996 c-280, 208K, purge valve unstuck, CEL still on
I need help, inspection due.
Ran WD-40 through old purge valve, it started "beating" when warm, but CEL came back on with same code,P0441. I have put another 150 miles and the CEL keeps coming back on. What should I check next? Thanks. |
Update
Replaced old purge valve with new and it beats much quieter. The gas cap seems to hold pressure, and I have WD-40'd the lines coming and going to the purge valve. Any other ideas? Please.
