drive-train backlash.
Hi guys,got his question i would like to get an answer to.what causes my transmission to give a slight jerk when shifting from park to reverse then to drive.:confused:

Check your flex discs. There are two.
Also, when was the last fluid/filter change? |

Just got back on the forum.I changed the fluid and filter about five-six months ago.

CV joint can be it, also drive shaft u joint.

+1 on the flex disk/s. That's probably the most common cause.
Edited to add; When looking for help with a car, it's usually a good idea to mention what model and year it is. |
I had about 5 degrees of rotational play on my differential input shaft when the car exhibited those symptoms.
